2014 Reel Music Awards
It’s time for Reel Music to take a look back at the year just gone. 2014 was an excellent year for music composed for film, television and video games and here I attempt to highlight some of the scores that I consider to be the stand out titles and to celebrate achievement of a wide range of composers.
Across the various categories, the nominees are listed alphabetically. Note that, in addition to the categories featured in the 2013 Reel Music Awards, two new categories have been added to highlight the quality of music being written for short films (Short Film Score) and to celebrate the 2014 release of scores for projects from 2013 and earlier (Archival Score).
The winners will be announced on Monday, 26th January 2015.
